Some items will arrive quickly, while others take time - but once they start coming off, it's time to CELEBRATE your success! Start by keeping a Vision Board Success Gratitude Box or Gratitude Jar. When you take something you have achieved off of your Vision Board, put it right into a Gratitude box or Gratitude Jar.

Gratitude means thankfulness, counting your blessings, noticing simple pleasures, and acknowledging everything that you receive. Gratitude shifts your focus from what your life lacks to the abundance that is already present.

Your Gratitude Box or Gratitude jar is a record of your accomplishments. When you have this physical record, you are providing evidence to your mind that you can make things happen -- that you are a creator. Your mind needs proof that it can get desired results. You Gratitude Box or Gratitude Jar trains your brain filter to expect and receive success. Way to go brain!

My Vision Board class was a super success. Thank you UNIVERSE. 

My favorite take away was seeing an amazing little girl name Kennedy who is ten years of age have on her board "I am living in my overflow." I loved the husband wife teams creating and visioning their life together. I also loved how beautiful the boards were. A couple of people overlayed their boards in gold glitter. Mostly, the energy from each person there. It was simply BEAUTIFUL.

I am often asked what is a vision board. I see the vision board fad however, many people believe it is about cutting pictures out of a magazine and placing them on a board. I want to tell you it is so much more than this. Vision boards known also as treasure maps as well as dream boards, are so much more than just cutting pictures out of a magazine. Vision Boards are a 3D version of your prayers in color. I recognize it as a sacred ritual. A ritual that takes you on an inner journey to the soul if your facilitator shares the process properly.

I have been doing vision boards since I was 10 years of age. I learned vision boards from the church I went to at the time. I taught my children how to do vision boards and they are grown living in different cities and still doing there vision boards at the beginning of the year.

A Vision Board is an incredible visualization tool to keep your goals visible - and to convince your brain to MANIFEST more of what you desire. Use your board to create a visual prayer of EXACTLY what you want to receive. Fill it with words and images of items, skills, or experiences you want- and be as specific as possible. It is a simple, but POWERFUL tool - when you use it! 

However, have you ever wondered why vision boards work for some people or why the one thing that you keep putting on your board year after year has not manifested while everything else is flying into your experience. I sat with myself speaking to SPIRIT asking why? I heard this word EXPECTATION.

Are You Ready to Divorce Your Old Self

I made a commitment to CHANGE!! I am super excited because my mission statement is adjusted to add experiences that will be etched in my heart forever. I plan to live from this day forward playing full out creating memories. MEMORIES THAT LAST FOREVER.

I definitely will not live 2017 like 2016, I am going into 2017 with a different mindset.

surrender

It feels like a perfect time to speak about SURRENDER

I am sitting hear remembering how hard it was for me to do my first film even though it was a short film. I  was devastated because I felt like that Introduction To Film class was more advanced than an introduction.

I remember the night before my assignment was due, all these emotions of inadequacies came up. I was stuck feeling like I do not know what to do nor what to write about. I was crying, fussing using a few choice words and asking for help no one would or could not help me. I decided to lay down feeling so much despair and totally frustrated  when I heard a voice say "SURRENDER."

I said to myself that is a good title for my film. I googled how to write a script. I wrote my script and began to draw out my story boards. Did I tell you that I did not know how to draw, however, I did an excellent job. I got an A out of the class not to mention that my film won the student film of the year award. I  can not tell you how fulfilling it is to watch your idea birth into a film.With that being said I read this today and wanted to share.

SURRENDER TO LOVE

There is so much confusion about this topic. On the surface, surrender seems like giving up, giving in and being lazy. It seems like a passive and weak approach to life. 

 From a Spiritual point of view surrender is one of the greatest tools in your tool box.

Let’s define surrender before we take another step. To surrender means to “submit or to yield”. So with that in mind, it’s vital to understand WHAT we are surrendering to. If you surrender to fear, or to anger, or to low self-esteem, then you are letting that force run you. You are giving up and giving into energies that don’t serve your Greatest Good. 

I’m talking about something much greater, grander and more meaningful than negative energy, and if we all cultivated the kind of surrender, there would be no “enemy” because we would realize we are all brothers and sisters floating through space on the same rock.

The kind of surrender I’m talking about is surrender with a capital S. To Surrender is to Surrender to Love. Love is the Energy that created our Uni-verse. This Energy is kind, creative and knows us FAR better than we do. This Energy of Love gave you gifts, talents and a purpose. So when you Surrender (capital S), you do not surrender to human beings (who are fallible), nor do you submit to a negative thought pattern.

When you Surrender you give up the control of your life to an Energy that will guide you perfectly. When you Surrender to the Energy of Love, you let go and let yourself be lived by It. Faith in this process is the soil in which you will flourish. This is no different than a seed being firmly planted in the right soil and watered. You are the seed, Faith is the soil and Love is what grows you. The seed effortlessly grows into its fullest expression, not by force, but with ease.

If you’re having a hard time believing that a kind, wise, loving and compassionate Energy created The Uni-verse, I’m going to ask you to do an experiment. Try. Try for 30 days to let go and let Love guide you. Not romantic love, not emotional love and not your love of cookies – I’m talking about Love with a capital L, that Creative Energy that made us all. Surrender (capital S), to Love, give IN to it… Let It guide you.

When you do this, all the illusions of your life that do not resonate with Love will burst. It may seem like your world is turning upside down – totally normal. It’s kind of like waking up from The Matrix. You’re gunna see things all kinds of differently. Just stick with it.

If you have problems, worries, or desires, just hand them over to Love. Lay them down at the feet of Love and stop trying to solve your problems with your mind. Give Love room to step in and help guide you. When you do this, you will be led to the strangest and most beautiful of places. Some people will leave your life; new ones will come. You may be fired, or feel called to quit your job. You may realize you are not in a Loving relationship. Whatever it may be, whatever you feel Love is guiding you to do, jump in.

Faith in yourself and in Love pays massive dividends. We are energetic beings and Love is the Highest Energy in The Uni-verse. Some people say that Love doesn’t pay the bills, but I call B/S. When you do what you Love, you will go through a phase of trials, but at the end of that process, if you stick with it, you WILL be rewarded not only with a greater sense of purpose and accomplishment, but with financial reward. Love protects anyone who pursues Love and welcomes Love in his or her life.

People change, the economy changes and life can be confusing – but Love never changes.

How do you tell a powerful story about a lady who's work is so abstract. Janine A Ingram is an AMAZING gift to the planet.
